Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a position of responsibility in production, plant, or shift, preferably in the food sector.
Training in Industrial or Agri-food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or similar.
Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and organic production regulations.
Leadership, organization, and planning skills, with a results orientation.
Experience in team management and incident resolution in production environments.

Nice to have

Experience in the bakery, pastry, or confectionery sector.
Knowledge of continuous improvement, lean, 5S, and SMED.
Experience in production management for private labels and large chains.
Knowledge of Excel, ERP, and production planning tools.
Residence near Moià or availability to commute there.

The role

At Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with an organic food manufacturing company located in Moià, specialized in the production of nougats, wafers, cookies, and other bakery and pastry products, which currently needs to incorporate a Production Manager into its team.

The selected person will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the company's productive activity, reporting directly to the Operations Director and leading the production team.

What you'll do

Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, and food safety.
Direct and supervise the production team, including floor supervisors, operators, and the maintenance technician.
Organize resources and prepare the factory for production peaks, especially during the Christmas season.
Control consumption, shrinkage, and production indicators, proposing improvement actions.
Coordinate with the Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, and Commercial departments to guarantee the correct development of productive activity.
Supervise the maintenance of production lines and ensure plant safety.
Lead continuous improvement projects and optimization of production processes.
