The role

On behalf of Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a consolidated industrial company in the consumer goods sector, with a long track record and products of recognized quality, located in La Rioja, to recruit an Export Manager who wants to lead its international growth in a stable environment with a future-oriented project. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in foreign trade who want to take on a position with visibility, autonomy, and direct contact with international clients and distributors.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for the development of the company's international business, defining and executing the export strategy alongside Management. You will be the main point of contact with clients and distributors abroad and will work in close coordination with Production, Quality, and Logistics.

Define and execute the export plan by market, alongside Management.
Manage and develop the international client portfolio: importers, distributors, and retail chains.
Open new markets and consolidate presence in current ones.
Negotiating prices, terms, and commercial contracts.
Prepare offers and rates for international clients.
Attend international trade fairs and undertake business travel.
Follow up on orders, deliveries, and incidents with the client.
Coordinate with Quality and Logistics regarding certifications, export documentation, and transport.
Prepare sales forecasts, control the budget, and monitor margins by market.
Develop indicators (KPIs), monitor them, and report to Management.

What profile are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with:

University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or similar.
Demonstrable experience as an Export Manager, Area Manager, or in international commercial positions.
C1 level of English. Other languages will be valued.
Proficiency in ERP, CRM, and Office 365.
Valid driver's license and availability to travel.
Negotiation skills, results orientation, initiative, and autonomy.

Experience in consumer goods or the food industry will be valued.
