The role

At Marlex we are working with the R&D&I center of an industrial group. They research and develop advanced technologies for the group's companies, acting as a bridge between technological innovation and the real product and process needs of each one.

We are looking to add an AI Project Manager to our Artificial Intelligence team who wants to lead initiatives with direct impact on industrial processes and product development.

What you'll do

You will lead AI projects applied to industrial processes, product development (for example, integrating intelligent features into products) and internal document management (assistants, chatbots, query tools).
You will manage teams, coordinating the technical profiles involved in each project - you will not work alone, but rather lead.
You will be the link with the internal client (the group's different companies): you will understand their processes, identify improvement opportunities within existing project portfolios, and know how to convey how an AI solution can deliver real savings for them.
You will put forward economic and project planning proposals, which are then validated together with the technical management.
You will manage deadlines, costs and incidents, maintaining a trusting relationship with the client even when the project gets complicated.
You will report directly to the CTO.

What we are looking for

2-3 years of experience managing AI projects in an industrial environment.
Experience leading or coordinating teams - we are looking for someone used to working in a team, not a lone profile.
Solid knowledge of Python, generative AI, RAGs and LLMs. Experience in signal processing is valued (not essential).
Ability to communicate with technical/industrial management profiles (IT, engineering, industrial management) - you need to know how to translate a business need into a technical solution, and vice versa.
Proactive mindset: we do not wait for things to be asked of us; we are looking for someone who knows how to take the initiative and see where else we can add value.
