Requirements

What we're looking for

You are the ideal candidate if...

You have training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
You bring previous experience in industrial project management, industrial processes, and mechanical design (preferably in machinery manufacturing for sectors such as food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals)
You have an English level that allows you to develop yourself with international clients
You have availability to make occasional national and international trips
You are a person with initiative, client orientation, and the ability to coordinate teams and assume responsibilities

The role

From Paul Marlex, we are collaborating with a leading international company, specialized in the design, manufacturing, and implementation of process solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics sectors, which is looking to hire a PROJECT MANAGER to expand its team at its Banyoles site.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Engineering Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading turnkey industrial projects from the bidding phase through to commissioning. Your main responsibilities will be:

You will participate in the process definition and the basic engineering of each project
You will supervise the mechanical and electrical design, coordinating with the involved departments
You will prepare and perform the economic monitoring of the projects, controlling costs and deviations
You will coordinate with the purchasing department, defining the necessary materials and equipment
You will manage subcontracts and coordinate the manufacturing and assembly works
You will supervise the commissioning and visit some clients sporadically
