What we're looking for

Training in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.
Previous experience in accounting and treasury positions.
Solid knowledge of financial accounting and advanced accounting.
Experience in treasury, collections, and payments management.
Ability to analyze and interpret accounting and financial information.
Knowledge of taxation and labor management.
Intermediate Excel level.
Organized, responsible, analytical person with the ability to work autonomously.

Nice to have

Experience working with Sage 200.
Previous experience in industrial companies.

At Marlex People, we are collaborating with an industrial company located in Viladecavalls (Barcelona), specializing in the extrusion of rigid sheet in coil and sheet formats, with more than 30 years of experience in the sector.

The company is firmly committed to the circular economy and sustainability, managing plastic waste and transforming it to give it a second life.

Currently, we are looking to hire an Accounting and Treasury Technician to join the Accounting and Finance department, to cover an 11-month maternity leave replacement.

We are looking for a person with experience in accounting and treasury, analytical capacity, organization, and autonomy, who wants to participate in different areas of the company's economic-financial management.

The selected person will join the Accounting and Finance department and will have a transversal position, participating in accounting management, treasury, cost control, taxation, and the preparation of economic-financial information for Management, in coordination with external advisory services.

What you'll do

Manage treasury, performing the monitoring of collections and payments, bank reconciliations, and control of the liquidity position.
Prepare and monitor treasury forecasts and cash flows.
Perform the recording and review of operations, bank reconciliations, and accounting closures.
Analyze accounts and participate in advanced accounting processes.
Review the correct recording of operations, checking balances and detecting possible errors or deviations.
Monitor outstanding balances, maturities, and customer credit limits.
Manage incidents related to collections and monitor the financial risk of customers.
Perform cost control and analysis, identifying deviations.
Participate in tax management and supervision, in coordination with the external advisory service.
Supervise labor management and review payroll, contracts, and labor documentation, with support from the advisory service.
Control and supervise the time registration and the monitoring of incidents.
Prepare economic-financial reports and documentation for Management.
Provide support in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and deviation control.
