- Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position at MHI in 5-star hotels.
- University education suited to the position (hospitality, tourism, or similar).
- Operational knowledge (buffet, à la carte...) and event management.
- Ability to foster initiatives for additional revenue in the department.
- Teamwork, planning, and orientation toward goals and the customer, as well as leadership.
- Flexible schedule.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced level of English. Knowledge of other languages will be positively valued.
The role
At Meliá Hotels International we are looking for an Assistant F&B Manager for our Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá 5*, located in the heart of the Paseo Marítimo in Palma.
What you'll do
Mission of the position: reporting to the Hotel's Food & Beverage Director, your mission will be to organize and supervise the activities of the staff in order to guarantee the quality of service provided to guests in the hotel's restaurants and bars, contributing to the achievement of its food and beverage ratios and the hotel's economic, quality, work environment, people development, and operational objectives.
