Requirements

What we're looking for

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Caminos), Architecture, Law or similar.
At least 5 years of previous experience in contractual management within the construction sector.
Solid knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, and economic project control.
Experience working alongside production, technical office, or project management teams.
Analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.
Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
Advanced level of Excel and project management tools.

Nice to have

Valuable experience in public contracts, FIDIC, or large infrastructure projects.

The role

We are looking for a Contract Manager to lead the contractual and economic management of construction projects, ensuring the correct application of contracts throughout the execution of the works. You will be responsible for identifying risks, managing contractual changes, and maximizing project profitability in coordination with the site and management teams.

What you'll do

Manage and supervise the contractual aspects of construction projects.
Analyze contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and rights.
Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation measures during the execution of the works.
Manage contract modifications, extensions of time, conflicting prices, and claims.
Provide support to site teams on contractual, technical, and economic matters.
Participate in negotiations with clients, technical management, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Perform economic monitoring of contracts and control possible deviations.
Prepare reports on risks, incidents, and opportunities for project management.
Coordinate with the legal, financial, purchasing, and production departments.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
