What we're looking for

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Controller positions
Solid financial analysis capacity and strategic orientation
Experience in preparing executive reporting.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
Experience in Sage ERP.
Knowledge of corporate taxation.
Ability to lead processes, organize information, and professionalize control tools
Experience in multi-entity and multi-plant environments.
Skills to interact with operational and business areas as well as teamwork with the finance department
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

The role

As a Financial Controller in Asturias, you will manage the economic and financial control of the company. You will analyze financial information to facilitate data-driven decisions and improve activity monitoring.

What you'll do

The selected person will perform the following duties:

Prepare and supervise financial reporting and dashboards for management
Analyze results, margins, profitability, and budget deviations
Manage and optimize cost control and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, guaranteeing the reliability of the financial investment
Collaborate closely with the different areas of the organization to drive efficiency and continuous improvement
Develop and optimize internal control procedures.
Prepare treasury and cash-flow forecasts and perform debt monitoring
Prepare the financial documentation required by financial entities
Teamwork with the financial manager, collaborating in the preparation of accounting/taxes
Control and monitoring of operating costs of the plants
Participation in the continuous improvement of control and management processes.
Support in decision-making through economic-financial analysis.
