Systems Director

We are looking for an IT Director to lead technological management in the Energy and Natural Resources sector. The position will be based in A Coruña and will focus on the implementation and maintenance of key technological systems for the company.

• Design and supervise the company's technological strategy.
• Cloud infrastructure and services: administer and supervise corporate infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Intune, hosting services, storage, backups, and remote access tools, guaranteeing their availability, capacity, performance, and security.
• Data platforms and reporting: guarantee the operation of Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and the ETL processes that extract, transform, and load information from SAP and other sources. Monitor daily executions, detect loading failures, review logs and scripts, and coordinate their resolution, ensuring the traceability and technical quality of the published data.
• OT systems and telecommunications for energy assets: supervise and coordinate communications between parks, plants, control centers, network operators, and third parties, guaranteeing their availability, security, and technological compatibility both in Spain and the United States. Review industrial protocols—such as Modbus and IEC 60870-5-104—tunnels and connections with platforms, manufacturers, and energy markets—Nexus, SGRE, REE, and secondary and tertiary markets—as well as firewalls, licenses, and associated connectivity services, including Fortinet and Starlink solutions. Coordinate incident resolution, renewals, configuration changes, and the updating of the corresponding technical documentation.
• Guarantee the operability and security of the computer systems.
• Manage technological projects, ensuring their execution within established deadlines and budgets.
• Supervise and lead the technology team.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with technological providers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technological regulations and standards.

• Permanent contract.
• Competitive salary between €50,000 and €65,000 gross per year.

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge in technological systems management.
• Experience leading teams in the technological field.
• Ability to manage technology projects in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
• Knowledge of technological regulations and standards.
• Advanced level of English.

Buscamos un/a Director/a de Sistemas para liderar la gestión tecnológica en el sector de Energía y Recursos Naturales. La posición estará basada en A Coruña y se centrará en la implementación y mantenimiento de sistemas tecnológicos clave para la empresa.

• Diseñar y supervisar la estrategia tecnológica de la empresa.
• Infraestructura y servicios cloud: administrar y supervisar la infraestructura corporativa, los servidores Windows y Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Intune, los servicios de hosting, almacenamiento, copias de seguridad y las herramientas de acceso remoto, garantizando su disponibilidad, capacidad, rendimiento y seguridad.
• Plataformas de datos y reporting: garantizar la operación de Power BI, Azure Data Factory y los procesos ETL que extraen, transforman y cargan información desde SAP y otras fuentes. Monitorizar las ejecuciones diarias, detectar fallos de carga, revisar logs y scripts y coordinar su resolución, asegurando la trazabilidad y calidad técnica de los datos publicados.
• Sistemas OT y telecomunicaciones de los activos energéticos: supervisar y coordinar las comunicaciones entre parques, plantas, centros de control, operadores de red y terceros, garantizando su disponibilidad, seguridad y compatibilidad tecnológica tanto en España como en Estados Unidos. Revisar los protocolos industriales -como Modbus e IEC 60870-5-104-, los túneles y conexiones con plataformas, fabricantes y mercados energéticos -Nexus, SGRE, REE y mercados secundario y terciario-, así como los firewalls, licencias y servicios de conectividad asociados, incluyendo soluciones Fortinet y Starlink. Coordinar la resolución de incidencias, las renovaciones, los cambios de configuración y la actualización de la documentación técnica correspondiente.
• Garantizar la operatividad y seguridad de los sistemas informáticos.
• Gestionar proyectos tecnológicos, asegurando su ejecución dentro de los plazos y presupuestos establecidos.
• Supervisar y liderar al equipo de tecnología.
• Evaluar y adoptar nuevas tecnologías para mejorar la eficiencia operativa.
• Gestionar relaciones con proveedores y contratistas tecnológicos.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de normativas y estándares tecnológicos aplicables.

• Contrato indefinido.
• Salario competitivo entre 50.000 € y 65.000 € brutos anuales.
• No hay teletrabajo.

El/la candidato/a seleccionado deberá cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

• Formación en Ingeniería Informática, Telecomunicaciones o similar.
• Amplios conocimientos en gestión de sistemas tecnológicos.
• Experiencia liderando equipos en el ámbito tecnológico.
• Capacidad para gestionar proyectos de tecnología en el sector de Energía y Recursos Naturales.
• Conocimientos en normativas y estándares tecnológicos.
• Nivel avanzado de inglés.
