The role

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing strategy for Consumer Packaged Goods categories, driving profitability, supplier negotiation, and team development. The position combines leadership, commercial vision, and business analysis to ensure the best assortment and customer experience.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Purchasing Director, the candidate will be responsible for:

Leading, coordinating, and developing a team of buyers, driving their performance and professional growth.
Designing and implementing the purchasing strategy for assigned categories.
Negotiating strategic agreements with key manufacturers and suppliers to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
Analyzing business indicators (margins, turnover, stock, profitability, and sales) to support decision-making.
Identifying market trends, innovation opportunities, and evolving consumer needs.
Ensuring the balance between product availability, service quality, and economic targets.

Collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and logistics teams to optimize business results.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

We are looking for a professional with solid purchasing experience in the food retail sector, with at least five years of experience in similar roles. The ideal candidate should hold a university degree, possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and digital tools, and a strong business orientation. Additionally, they should stand out for their leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills, combined with strong organizational ability, proactivity, and teamwork.

Knowledge of English and/or French will be highly valued.
