The role

DO YOU HAVE THE ENERGY TO TRANSFORM THE WORLD?

Discover what the day-to-day life of this internship in Renewable Generation at Naturgy is like!

At Renewable Generation, we are immersed in an exciting challenge of transformation and growth through the development of renewable energy projects. Our Internship Program for students has the main objective of driving a new generation of young professionals with talent, a desire to work in a team, and the drive to take on innovation and future challenges in the energy transition.

What you'll do

Your day-to-day challenges will be oriented towards:

  • Data integration: the processing of information coming from different SCADA systems of wind and photovoltaic plants requires rigorous extraction, transformation, and loading processes that guarantee data quality and consistency.
  • Precise calculation of technical and contractual indicators: the determination of temporal and energetic availability, technical performance, and contractual guarantees demands accuracy and traceability, given their economic and contractual impact.
  • Identification and quantification of losses: the analysis of production losses, limitations, unavailability, and deviations from expected references allows for the detection of the causes of inefficiencies and the prioritization of actions.
  • Effective communication of results: the development of reports and dashboards in Power BI must facilitate decision-making by the managers of each facility, presenting information clearly and in an action-oriented manner.
  • Continuous improvement and automation: the optimization of data models and the automation of processes in Databricks contribute to reducing manual tasks and driving digitalization and innovation initiatives in the field of renewable generation.
