The role

As a Pastry Chef, you will be part of the kitchen team at Paco Roncero Restaurant, participating in the preparation and execution of the restaurant's dessert offerings. You will contribute to the development and preparation of desserts, advanced pastry techniques, and high-end plating, always ensuring the highest standards of quality, creativity, and precision.

Your role will be key to maintaining the technical and aesthetic level of the restaurant, collaborating closely with the kitchen team in a demanding, professional, and highly creative environment.

What you'll do

Preparing the desserts on the menu and tasting menu, following the restaurant's standards.
Preparing the mise en place for the pastry section and ensuring its proper organization.
Executing the plating during service with precision, speed, and aesthetic coherence.
Managing inventory, product rotation, and preservation of raw materials.
Strictly applying and complying with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations.
Participating in the creative development and evolution of the restaurant's dessert offerings.
Maintaining fluid communication with the kitchen team and section heads.

Requirements

Training in pastry or culinary arts with a specialization in desserts.
Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in fine dining or high-end restaurants.
Aesthetic sensibility and mastery of modern pastry techniques.
Commitment, positive attitude, and high personal standards.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
Valid work permit (essential).
