The role

At onhunters, we are looking for a Livestock Production Manager to join a company in the agricultural-livestock sector in Segovia. You will play a key role in the management and optimization of pig production, ensuring productive efficiency, genetic quality, and compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare standards.

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing livestock production, ensuring compliance with production indicators, genetic quality, and sanitary standards, implementing continuous improvements and leading the coordination of resources, suppliers, and teams to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of the farms.

📋 Your main responsibilities will be:

Analyze production indicators and detect deviations in production.
Implement corrective and continuous improvement actions to optimize results.
Define and oversee the genetic purchasing strategy.
Evaluate suppliers and ensure the genetic quality of the animals.
Ensure the proper implementation of genetic improvement programs.
Select and manage suppliers and external services.
Oversee compliance with biosecurity protocols on the farms.
Ensure animal welfare conditions in accordance with regulations.
Implement preventive measures to minimize health risks.
