Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Salary Range: 45K - 55K€

The role

As HR Business Partner, you will be the dedicated people partner for our Tech, Product and Security teams: around 60 people across Barcelona and Paris. You will work hand in hand with our CPTO, our CISO, and with the engineering managers and tech leads who run the teams day to day.

Recruitment is handled by a dedicated transverse role, and payroll and admin by our People Ops. This leaves you free to focus fully on what matters most: helping our people grow, stay and perform. You will be the first HR contact for your scope, report to our CHRO and join an HR team of five working across France and Spain.

What you'll do

Onboarding

  • Own the onboarding journey of every new joiner in your scope, from day one to the end of the trial period.

  • Run structured check-ins with new joiners and their managers

  • Track trial-period outcomes and act on what they tell us.

Career & talent development

  • Follow each employee's development throughout their career at Powens: career plan, training plan, internal mobility.

  • Build career paths for tech, product and security roles with the managers.

  • Run People Reviews and 360 feedback cycles, and prepare promotions.

  • Make sure your teams have the skills they need to reach their targets, and manage the relationship with training providers.

  • Connect annual reviews and performance management to real development plans.

Engagement & retention

  • Be a close, day-to-day partner for employees and managers in your scope: regular check-ins, listening, advice and support throughout the employee journey.

  • Monitor engagement in your scope and act early on the signals you pick up.

  • Build retention plans for key talent with the managers.

  • Handle complex individual situations on your own (conflicts, grievances, disciplinary cases) with rigour, impartiality and full confidentiality

  • Track and share the HR KPIs of your scope

HR projects & culture

  • Act as an ambassador of the HR team and of Powens culture: contribute to company events, team rituals and internal initiatives alongside the rest of the HR team.

  • Roll out group HR projects in your scope (manager training, performance cycles, compensation reviews, company values), adapting them to local legislation and culture.

  • Run culture workshops with the rest of the HR team.

  • Make sure every HR project has a clear owner and clear success criteria.

  • Bring the voice of the teams back into the design of our HR policies.

How you work, the Powens way

  • You are a trusted, direct and pragmatic partner, comfortable with senior leaders as well as with individual contributors. You adapt your communication to each audience.

  • You are data-oriented. You use indicators to steer your actions and tell the story behind the numbers.

  • You set high standards: you improve processes as you go, give direct and constructive feedback

  • You handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold GDPR and ethical standards.

  • You have the writing culture to work in a global and remote environment

Hiring process

  • HR call

  • Meeting with the HR team

  • Case study

  • Interview with our CHRO

  • Powens fit: meetings with the managers and teams you will work with
