Tax Compliance Analyst

• University degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) and/or Law and/or Economics.
• Master's degree in Taxation.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar tax roles, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
• - Solid knowledge of:
• Domestic taxation from a compliance perspective. Direct taxation in corporate and international environments.
• Solid knowledge of accounting applied to taxation.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential (reconciliations, control, and analysis of tax information).
• Good command of PowerPoint for preparing reports and corporate tax reporting.
• Highly accurate, meticulous profile with a strong focus on control, essential in a multinational environment.

Ensuring Prosegur's tax compliance in Spain, minimizing tax risks and optimizing the company's tax management.

• Management and oversight of tax compliance in Spain: Ensuring the correct application of current tax regulations in all operations, with a particular focus on Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Preparation, review, and validation of tax returns: Preparing, reviewing, and filing periodic tax returns (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, withholdings, etc.) and other information returns required by the Tax Administration in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review of the tax treatment of transactions: Analyzing and verifying the correct tax classification of commercial and operational transactions carried out within the country, ensuring compliance with applicable tax legislation.
• Coordination with the accounting department: Collaborating closely with the accounting team to ensure consistency between tax and accounting information, guaranteeing proper regulatory application and facilitating necessary reconciliations.
• Response to Tax Administration requirements: Proactively and efficiently managing communications, notifications, and requests issued by tax authorities, preparing accurate and timely responses.
• Analysis and management of tax contingencies: Identifying, assessing, and proposing strategies for managing potential tax contingencies, minimizing the economic and legal impact on the company.
• Identification of improvement opportunities: Proposing and implementing improvements to tax management processes and systems to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Monitoring of tax legislation: Staying up to date on legislative and case-law developments in tax matters, assessing their impact on the company, and proposing the necessary adjustments.
