General description:

We are looking for an Associate Lawyer with at least 3 years of demonstrable experience in Labor and Social Security Law to join our Employment department. The ideal candidate must have a proactive profile, strong technical skills, autonomy in managing cases, and a commitment to client service and teamwork.

Main Functions and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assume, among others, the following duties:

Recurring advisory services: Provide ongoing labor law advice to national and international client companies (hires, terminations, recruitment, bonuses, disciplinary procedures, etc.).

Court proceedings: Attendance and legal representation in conciliation proceedings (SMAC/regional bodies) and defense in court proceedings before the Labor Courts and High Courts of Justice.

Restructurings and dismissals: Participation in and management of objective and disciplinary dismissals, collective redundancy procedures (ERE), and contract suspensions (ERTE).

Collective bargaining: Assistance in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, substantial changes to working conditions, and company agreements.

Labor inspections: Representation of and assistance to companies before the Labor and Social Security Inspectorate, as well as drafting administrative appeals.

Due diligence: Conducting labor audits and preparing due diligence reports in the context of M&A transactions and corporate restructurings.

Client relations: Direct contact with the human resources departments and general management of clients.
