Quality Control Technician (Finished Product)

Minimum requirements:

• Previous experience: At least 1-2 years in quality control departments, preferably in industrial environments (cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, or automotive).
• Digital skills: Proficiency in computer tools and, highly valued/essential, previous experience reporting in SAP (quality module).
• Full schedule flexibility (availability required): Ability to work 3 rotating shifts (Morning, Afternoon, and Night) from Monday to Friday.
• Availability to work on Saturdays as production needs require.
• Schedule flexibility to extend the working day as needed to cover shifts or organizational service requirements.
• Own vehicle to access the workplace.

Desirable:

• Education: Intermediate or higher degree (Grado Medio or Grado Superior) in Chemistry, Quality, Laboratory, or a related field.
• Profile: High attention to detail, autonomy, and assertive communication skills for incident management.

In this role, you will join the finished product laboratory team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Inspection and visual validation: Performing aesthetic and functional quality control on the finished product and its packaging, ensuring compliance with required technical specifications.

Data management and recording: Accurately reporting all inspections, batch releases, and incidents directly in the SAP system.

Decision-making on the plant floor: Blocking or releasing product based on results obtained and communicating deviations to the corresponding departments.

Documentation management: Ensuring compliance with quality regulations and completing the relevant laboratory records (note: this role is focused on management, verification, and reporting, so it does not require performing traditional chemical or microbiological analysis at the lab bench).
