What we're looking for

Project management from an IT perspective (managing timelines, risks, scope, costs, etc.)
General knowledge of the Insurance Business, and specifically of Santalucía.
Software development based on microservices architecture.
Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Integration concepts (Kafka message queues, APIs, JSON, event-driven architecture).
Data Science, Big Data, or similar.
Software development methodologies

Education & certifications

Bachelor's Degree and/or University Degree

The role

Reporting to the Corporate IT Development Area, and within the Financial team, you will be responsible for leading, in the short term, the Strategic Plan projects affecting this area, ensuring their execution within the expected timelines, costs, scope, and quality, and serving as one of the technical and functional references within the Financial scope in the Company and in its relationship with external teams.

What you'll do

Leading several projects in the Financial scope included in the Strategic Plan for their successful implementation.
Coordinating the different resources involved in the life cycle phases of each project, managing heterogeneous work teams, assuming leadership and supervision of projects with internal and external staff collaboration, as well as the application of different technological and functional domains.
Constant liaison with the Business to understand needs and properly orient them towards technical solutions, always ensuring efficiency in timelines and costs.
Continuous liaison with diverse IT teams (internal and external) to ensure the technical implementation of projects.
Consolidating functional and technical knowledge within the Financial scope.
Reporting to the direct manager, management, and Program monitoring teams.

Desired experience

7 years of experience in Development projects
5 years of experience in the Insurance Sector
Recommended: Knowledge of Santalucía projects.

Skills

Ability to build relationships and communicate with different Business and IT areas (Development, Systems, Databases, Software Architecture, Middleware Architecture, QA, etc.)
Reporting skills at the management level.
Autonomy and proficiency in decision-making.
People and results orientation.
