Requirements

What we're looking for

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and manufacture of mechanical equipment in a production or Engineering department within companies that develop and mass-produce their own products (automotive, aeronautics, railway, machine tool, robotics,...).

- Advanced level of English.

Nice to have

- International experience will be valued.

- Experience will be valued in:

Mechanical manufacturing.
Sizing and selection of machine elements.
Negotiation with clients or suppliers.

The role

At Sener, we wish to incorporate an Industrialization Engineer into our team at our Zamudio workplace.

The selected person will join a Defense and Space Mechanisms Development group as a specialist in product design and industrialization for series production. This is a position within the Engineering Department that relates to the Design, Production, and Supply Chain Departments.

What you'll do

- Participation in the design of Defense and Space mechanisms and structures, with the aim of optimizing their manufacturing costs, integration, and acceptance testing.

- Sizing and definition of mechanical components.

- Participation in the search for new suppliers, and responsibility for their technical validation.

- Design of production tooling. Preparation of assembly and verification procedures.

- Participation in the design of new production lines, development of new processes, and automation of existing ones.

- Monitoring and resolution of incidents/non-conformities, whether internal or at suppliers of manufactured parts, mechanical components, or integrated assemblies.

- Assembly and testing of prototypes.

- Preparation of technical documentation associated with the previous points.

- Technology watch on manufacturing, assembly, and verification technologies for precision mechanical equipment.
