Controller Manager

• University degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent degree.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis positions.

• Experience in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

• Experience in variance analysis and financial reporting.

• Previous experience in demanding professional environments and/or companies with complex structures.

• Advanced / professional English. (This will be evaluated during the process)

• Analytical capacity and orientation toward decision-making.

• Previous experience in audit within Big4, especially if experience in a controlling position has subsequently been developed.

• Knowledge of SAP.

• Experience in implementation or transformation processes of financial systems.

• Experience working as a Business Partner with different Business Units.

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking for a Controller Manager to join our Corporate Services team in Barcelona, within the Finance and Controlling division.

The selected person will play a key role in monitoring and analyzing the company's financial information, working transversally with the different Business Units and participating in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

We are looking for a profile with consolidated experience in controlling and financial analysis, with the ability to act as a Business Partner to the Business Units and provide an analytical vision oriented toward decision-making.

• Analysis of deviations between actual results and the budget.

• Preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

• Financial analysis and monitoring of the main business indicators.

• Preparation of financial reporting for management and headquarters.

• Preparation of ad hoc reports for the different Business Units.

• Development of a Business Partnering culture with the Business Units.

• Identification of deviations, risks, and opportunities and proposal of corrective actions.

• Collaboration in the improvement and evolution of the processes and tools of the Controlling area.

• Participation in the SAP implementation process and other transformation projects within the finance area.

• Transversal collaboration with the Finance teams and the different business areas.

• Location: Barcelona, 22@ zone / Glòries.

• Contract: Permanent.

• Schedule: Full-time.

• Work mode: Hybrid.

• Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 9:00h to 18:30h and Friday from 9:00h to 15:00h.
