Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
Previous experience in the field of tunnel design and calculation is essential.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is indispensable for working on international projects. B2/C1 level.

Nice to have

Proficiency in calculation programs FLAC 3D, DIPS, UNWEDGE, ROCSUPPORT, and RS2
Experience in International Standards applied to Structural Calculation (ACI, AASHTO, Eurocode, etc.)

The role

Context

At SYSTRA Subterra, a leading company in underground infrastructure design, we want to add an ICCP, Mining Engineer or Geological Engineer to the team, with at least 5 years of experience in the field of tunnel engineering; with the ability to work in groups and the autonomy to operate within multidisciplinary and international project teams.

The candidate will be focused on the discipline of underground works design.

What you'll do

The engineer will perform the following functions, among others:

Drafting of calculation reports and descriptive memories.
Preparation of shape and reinforcement sketches, and review of plans produced by the drafting department.
2D-3D models for obtaining stresses in different structural elements.
Dimensioning of reinforced concrete sections.
Review of external reports.
Client advisory.
Attendance at meetings.
