WHAT DO WE DO IN THE TEAM?

Telefónica has extensive experience offering cloud services to its B2B customers.

Telefónica offers its customers the commercial service "Telefónica Tech Cloud Platform" (hereinafter, TTCP), a proprietary cloud solution developed and evolved internally for more than 15 years.

The concept of Sovereign Cloud is an international concept, but with special emphasis in the European Union, since the aim is to provide autonomy and independence of supply from jurisdictions outside the EU.

Our current TTCP catalog is mainly focused on the IaaS business. Telefónica is working on building a new line of PaaS products to complement the current TTCP catalog, with the aim of providing a more complete experience to our customers. The benefits of the new PaaS products include, among others:

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE?

The objective of this newly created Product Manager position is to capture the new business opportunity around advanced computing technologies by expanding our own Sovereign Distributed Cloud offering, and providing standardized solutions for customers' Private Clouds.

Experience

More than 4 years defining Value Propositions, identifying customer value points and differentiators against the competition in the technology sector.

Creating documentation that defines the products and services to be marketed, in an executive format.

Creating Business Cases, considering cost structures, margin definitions, and P&L.

Abilities to take full responsibility for the products and services within the area of competence that will be led.

Product Strategy to capture business opportunities.

Defining a standardized catalog of Products and Services.

Activities related to Launch and Management through Telefónica's commercial channels.

Monitoring results and managing the lifecycle to maintain commercialization, as well as the associated evolution/roadmap.

Knowledge of the Cloud business:

Market situation and main references (Hyperscalers, Deutsche Telekom T Cloud Public, OVH, Scaleway, StackIT, IONOS, etc.)

as-a-service commercialization models, which allow customers to consume on a pay-per-use basis, reducing investment and accelerating innovation.

Knowledge of deploying, operating, and evolving technology through automation, reducing time and operational errors.
