WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY BE LIKE?

Your mission will be the implementation and subsequent administration (systems, tools) of storage for a major company client. You will handle the initial deployment of the storage infrastructure to then provide and maintain the necessary technical means for efficient service management. Your duties will therefore be as follows:

During the deployment phase, your main task will be the assembly and configuration of NetApp storage arrays, so knowledge of this manufacturer's technology is essential. You will also need to assemble and configure Brocade-based storage switches, collaborating with the systems and virtualization teams for equipment access to storage.

Your day-to-day in the administration phase will be as follows:

Attend to requests and petitions from the storage platform, for their provision and execution with quality and on time.

Ensure service levels by participating in the resolution of incidents, changes, and problems.

Attend to and resolve storage platform incidents with quality and on time.

Ensure that service event supervision and management are carried out.

Design and execute changes made to the configuration elements of the storage platform.

Communicate the result of changes executed in the service, and supervise their execution.

Execution of improvement plans associated with the storage platform.

Problem resolution of the infrastructure elements upon which the storage platform service is provided. Analyze and identify root causes of incidents and problems and manage problems reactively and proactively.

AND FOR THIS, WE BELIEVE IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAD...

Essential: two or more years of work experience in similar positions and in the following fields:

More than 2 years of experience in similar roles.

Solid experience in the administration and deployment of NetApp solutions (ONTAP, arrays, storage management, etc.).

Knowledge of SAN networks, especially in environments with Brocade technology.

Desirable

Experience with other storage technologies (Dell, HPE, Hitachi...).

Knowledge of backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, Avamar, etc.).

Familiarity with virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V...).

General knowledge of systems, networks, or databases.

Basic experience in scripting or automation.

Knowledge of ITIL best practices.

To perform the role, the skills that would best fit the team and the project would be:

Good communication skills (oral and written).

Capacity for execution and problem resolution.

Proactive approach and orientation toward continuous improvement.

Ability to work in a team and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Interest in learning and evolving in the field of storage and Cloud environments.

Intermediate level English.
