What you'll do

WHAT WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE? 

Your mission will be the implementation and subsequent technical administration (systems, tools) of the storage for an important company client. You will handle the initial deployment of the storage infrastructure and then provide and maintain the necessary technical resources for efficient service management. The duties are therefore as follows:

During the deployment phase, your main task will be the assembly and configuration of NetApp storage arrays, so knowledge of this manufacturer's technology is essential. You will also need to assemble and configure Brocade-based storage switches, collaborating with systems and virtualization colleagues for equipment access to storage.

Your day-to-day in the administration phase will be as follows: 

    • Handle requests and demands from the storage platform, provisioning and executing them with quality and on time.
    • Ensure service levels by participating in the resolution of incidents, changes, and problems.
    • Address and resolve storage platform incidents with quality and on time.
    • Ensure service monitoring and event management are carried out.
    • Design and execute changes made to the configuration items of the storage platform.
    • Communicate the results of changes executed on the service, and oversee their implementation.
    • Execute improvement plans associated with the storage platform.
    • Resolve problems in the infrastructure elements on which the storage platform service is provided. Analyze and identify root causes of incidents and problems, and manage problems reactively and proactively. 

What we're looking for

AND FOR THAT, WE BELIEVE IT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR YOU TO HAVE… 

Essential: TWO or more years of professional experience in similar positions and in the following areas:

    • More than 2 years of experience in similar roles.
    • Solid experience in administering and deploying NetApp solutions (ONTAP, arrays, storage management, etc.).
    • Knowledge of SAN networks, especially in environments using Brocade technology.

Nice to have

    • Experience with other storage technologies (Dell, HPE, Hitachi…).
    • Knowledge of backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, Avamar, etc.).
    • Familiarity with virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V…).
    • General knowledge of systems, networks, or databases.
    • Basic experience in scripting or automation.
    • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.

Languages

    • Intermediate English level.
