Main responsibilities

Safety management in projects

• Participate in kick-off meetings for new projects.
• Prepare, review, and update Health and Safety Plans.
• Carry out risk assessments associated with projects and maintenance activities.
• Ensure a rapid response to new documentation and prevention needs on construction sites.
• Coordinate preventive actions from project start to completion.

Site monitoring and visits

• Carry out periodic site visits together with the Site Manager.
• Identify risk situations and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare action plans derived from the visits.
• Follow up weekly on commitments made with those responsible for the site.
• Deliver safety and awareness talks to work teams.
• Verify that the work carried out matches the authorised work permits.

Documentation control and compliance

• Manage and keep project safety documentation up to date.
• Review work permits weekly for the assigned areas (Centre, East, and South).
• Prepare procedures and safety instructions.
• Coordinate documentation requirements for national and international projects, especially in France.
• Collaborate in the transition from an external prevention service to a more integrated prevention management approach.

Other duties

• Carry out safety inductions for office staff and new hires in Madrid.
• Manage environmental and administrative documentation related to warehouse and facility waste.
• Support audits, inspections, and preventive improvement actions.

Profile we are looking for

Education

• Engineering degree and Master's degree in one of the three specialisations of Occupational Risk Prevention.
• Additional training in construction safety, coordination of business activities, or management systems is valued.

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in construction sites, facilities, maintenance, or industrial projects.
• Experience preparing Safety Plans and Risk Assessments.
• Accustomed to carrying out field visits and operational follow-up.
• Availability to travel 50% of the time.
• Intermediate-high English
