Requirements

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or similar.
Advanced level of office automation tools for work support: Excel (dynamic spreadsheets, macros).
Knowledge of database management.
Knowledge of the Insurance Sector, as well as the accounting principles in force therein (PCEA),
Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS17)
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Departments, Management Control, or similar.

Nice to have

A good level of English is valued (Advanced)
Experience in the insurance or financial sector will be valued.
Experience in Big Four Audit will be valued.

The role

What you'll do

Design of processes and circuits in the company's accounting cycle.
Implement new systems and procedures that improve the control of accounting data and execution efficiency.
Design and improvement of the first line of defense in the control of accounting information, ensuring the traceability and integrity of accounting records.
Preparation of financial statements
Accounting control under both local criteria and IFRS criteria
Preparation of information for the financial audit.
Preparation of financial reports for Management.
Implementation of Internal Control within the department as well as SCIIF controls
Participation and Leadership of cross-functional projects

Skills

Being a methodical and organized person in daily work.
Ability to build relationships and work in a team. Will require interaction with different areas of the organization.
Own initiative and autonomy in the development of assigned tasks.
Initiative in continuous improvement processes, efficiency, and innovation.
