What we're looking for

Higher university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.
Must have professional
Minimum C1 level
Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives.
Essential to have: *Organizational, analytical, and planning skills. *Results-oriented mindset. *Willingness to work and actively collaborate on the project. *Autonomy and a high degree of responsibility.

Nice to have

A Master's degree in markets, financial instruments, or similar is desirable.
Valuable programming skills in R, Python, C++, etc., and in database management languages (SQL).
Knowledge of risk management and/or control tools (SimCorp, Murex, Bloomberg) is desirable.

The role

From the Investment Management team at the Barcelona offices, we want to hire an Investment Manager with experience in managing insurance company and/or bank balance sheet portfolios.

We are looking for profiles with experience in financial markets. Experience in programming, database management, and knowledge of investment software will be highly valued.

What will be your functions and responsibilities?

Your main mission will be to manage the insurance company's investment portfolios and collaborate with the different units of the Investment Management division. @@
Analysis, proposal, execution, and monitoring of market operations.
Management of the investment portfolio considering profitability and risk factors, accounting, capital consumption, and coverage of the company's liabilities.
Coordination with different areas of the company and the Group (CaixaBank, BPI).
Participation in cross-functional projects to evolve current management capabilities. Implementation of new IT tools to manage investment portfolios.
Collaboration in the development of the company's new products.
