About the role

Job description

mission:

Its main mission will be to participate in the control of the company's accounting cycle, implementing improvements in processes and controls, as well as in the subsequent analysis of the different figures of the Savings businesses.

Implement new systems and procedures that improve control of accounting data and execution efficiency.

Design and improvement of the first line of defence in the control of accounting information to ensure the traceability and integrity of accounting records.

Preparation of financial statements

Control of accounting under both local criteria and IFRS criteria

Preparation of information for the financial audit.

Preparation of financial reports for Management.

Implementation of Internal Control within the department as well as SCIIF controls

Participation in and leadership of cross-functional projects

Requirements

Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or similar.

Advanced level of office support tools for work: Excel (dynamic spreadsheets, macros).

Knowledge of database management.

Knowledge of the Insurance Sector, as well as the accounting principles currently in force therein (PCEA).

Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS17)

A good level of English is an asset (Advanced)

Minimum experience of 4 years in Financial Departments, Management Control or similar.

Experience in the insurance or financial sector will be valued.

Experience in Big Four auditing will be valued.

Skills

Be a methodical and organised person in your daily work.

Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team. It will require interaction with different areas of the organisation.
