The role

At Wetaca, we cook so that eating well is a possible routine for most, not a burden or a privilege.

We are homemade food, made with purpose and designed for everyday life. Varied, balanced dishes cooked with market ingredients and the time each recipe requires, without additives or artifices.

We are in constant growth, and that compels us to continue building a more solid, efficient, and scalable operation. Growing does not mean improvising, but rather industrializing well, with control, technical judgment, and a focus on quality.

We are currently looking to bring in an Industrial Plant Engineering Manager for our plant, a key figure to lead investment and transformation projects for our facilities, with a special focus on industrial civil works, plant expansions, and the incorporation of new machinery and productive technology.

If you are a dynamic, proactive person with a technical vision and leadership capacity, and you have experience managing civil works projects, plant engineering, and industrial installations in production environments, this opportunity may interest you.

What you'll do

As Industrial Plant Engineering Manager, you will lead investment and transformation projects for our facilities, from technical definition and planning to their execution and commissioning, ensuring the integration of new solutions without compromising the continuity of the production operation.

  • Plan and supervise interventions in production facilities, guaranteeing the continuity of activity during the execution of the works.
  • Coordinate construction companies, external engineering firms, and specialized suppliers, supervising the technical execution of the works.
  • Define and optimize industrial layouts and production flows together with the Operations teams.
  • Supervise projects for the adaptation and improvement of industrial infrastructure and facilities, ensuring they respond to the growth needs of the plant.
  • Control deadlines, budgets, and the quality of project execution.
  • Guarantee compliance with applicable industrial regulations in the plant.
  • Ensure the correct management of authorizations, licenses, legalization of installations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate projects related to industrial installations and their supplies, ensuring they have the necessary capacity and technical conditions to support productive growth.
  • Anticipate regulatory and technical risks in expansion or improvement projects for the facilities.
  • Act as a technical reference regarding engineering and industrial compliance.
  • Lead the complete cycle of incorporating industrial machinery and equipment: technical specification, negotiation with manufacturers, installation, validation, and commissioning.
  • Design and optimize industrial processes associated with new technological incorporations, driving the efficiency and productivity of operations.
  • Manage the integration of new equipment into existing production lines, minimizing the impact on operational continuity.
  • Technically validate installations and equipment before they go into production, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety requirements, and operational needs.
