As a claims handler, the selected person will be responsible for the management and payment of claims for savings products.

To this end, your main duties will be:

• Proactively register, examine, and resolve claims. Full review and validation of the documentation provided within the guidelines and limits described in the Global and Local Claims Policy.
• Proactive request for additional or pending information from clients, beneficiaries, agents, collaborators, or external firms.
• Analyze claim coverage and execute the corresponding claim payments diligently, applying current taxation and legal regulations.
• Review of policy validity, exclusions, sums insured, and particular conditions.
• Leverage office skills to improve productivity and the management of information within the Life Claims department.
• Promote continuous improvement and efficiency of our processes through the analysis and identification of improvement opportunities during operational execution.
• Contribute actively to the correct development of projects carried out in the area, facilitating and promoting teamwork where appropriate.

We expect the person joining the team to possess the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Criminology, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or similar.
• Knowledge at an insurance level, especially regarding risk products and claims management, will be valued.
• Spoken and written English proficiency will be positively valued.
• Advanced mastery of the Office suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, Powerapp).
• Ability to work in a team with a high orientation toward service excellence and results.
• Decision-making ability and oral and written communication skills.
• Proactivity and empathy with internal and external clients.
• Ability to generate reports (Excel, Powerapp)
