About the job

This job was automatically translated to English, .

We are looking for a person to take on, within sustainable water management, the key role played by procurement and partners.

The Integral Water Cycle department is dedicated to the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants, and desalination plants both in Spain and abroad, as well as to the management of supply services, sewerage, repairs, and integral water management contracts in towns and cities.

The purchasing department plays a very important role in this management, since having the right partners is just as important as responding in a timely manner (and within budget) to the production unit's needs.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities:

  • Help provide those responses to needs through the appropriate contracting of both supplies and services for the plants and services in operation.
  • Market research, preparation of tenders, updating of framework agreements, technical and economic review of bids.
  • Negotiations with suppliers, collaboration with the internal and external client, all within a strict governance system and with sustainability criteria that ensure optimal management of agreements.

What we're looking for

  • A 6-month internship, part-time or full-time. Start date from September to March.
  • Bachelor's degree or official/qualifying master's degree in Engineering or an Industrial or Chemical degree.
  • Good level of English; other languages will be positively valued.
