Insurance Commercial Manager - Canary Islands

Higher education degree required.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in management positions within the intermediary sector.

Valuable: English or knowledge of other languages such as French or German.

At Admiral Seguros, we are looking for a commercial manager profile, specialized in the insurance sector, who identifies, analyzes, develops, and manages the network of brokers in line with the designed business plan and the achievement of the commercial plan set in collaboration with the channel's commercial management.

They will also have tasks of representing the Company at industry events.

Functions:

• Active participation in the design of the plan for their area, including business objectives (premiums, margins) and the type of target brokers.
• Identification, analysis, and targeting of potential brokers to collaborate with.
• Network Development: evaluation of business evolution at the intermediary level, defining the value proposition and services, negotiating long-term commercial agreements.
• Network Management: Maintaining the relationship with brokers, identifying and analyzing their needs and problems to propose solutions; monitoring and tracking the commercial plan by setting objectives and working towards their achievement; monitoring and tracking the broker network, identifying problems and analyzing corrective measures with the team; renewing agreements and terminating those deemed necessary; detailed monitoring of brokers / keys to identify problems in their value levers.
• Representation of Admiral at industry meetings.
• Active participation in defining the value proposition for their area and in modifying/optimizing the current one based on: information gathered from the brokers in question; knowledge of the sector and prior channel experience.
• Participation in prioritizing and scheduling future tasks, taking into account the project's strategic objectives.
• Liaising with the rest of the team to provide and receive structured feedback and work on improvements required by the channel.
• Participation in the development and implementation of activity and network monitoring models, including tools and processes.
