About the role

MISSION

Collaborate closely with the Director of the Territorial Brokers Channel and the commercial executives to develop and execute sales strategies for Life insurance products in the assigned territory, following the strategy set by the Brokers Channel Management and the Life Insurance Manager. Manage the assigned portfolio of brokers, support the commercial executives, and coordinate with key internal areas to ensure the achievement of common objectives and the comprehensive development of the business.

  1. Commercial Management and Coordination:

             •   Design, together with the Director of the Territorial Brokers Channel, strategies focused on growing sales of Life insurance products in the assigned territory.

             •   Support commercial executives in promoting, developing, and closing business opportunities related to Life insurance products, both with brokers and by supporting them with the broker's end client.

             •   Manage and enhance the performance of assigned brokers, ensuring they meet their commercial targets and strengthening their technical knowledge.

         2.     Relationship with Brokers:

             •   Act as the main point of contact with brokers, providing comprehensive advice on Life insurance products and their technical and tax implications.

             •   Identify areas for improvement in broker performance and provide tailored solutions to increase their efficiency and results.

         3.     Coordination with Internal Areas:

             •   Collaborate with the Manager, the Life Insurance Management (DNP+FABRICA), the Training/CAMPUS area, and the Head of Commercial Development for the Brokers Channel to ensure alignment of strategies and resources.

             •   Coordinate the implementation of training and development programs for brokers, ensuring their knowledge is up to date on products, regulations, and commercial skills.

             •   Facilitate communication and resolution of issues between brokers and the internal areas involved.

         4.     Training and Support:

             •   Develop and deliver training sessions on Life insurance products, sales strategies, tax benefits, and commercial tools.

             •   Ensure that both brokers and commercial executives are up to date on market trends, regulatory changes, and new products.

         5.     Strategy and Market Development:

             •   Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory and design strategies to capture them in collaboration with the commercial team and internal areas.

             •   Analyze market and competitor trends to adapt commercial strategies and maintain competitiveness.

         6.     Administrative Management:

             •   Prepare periodic reports on broker performance, sales results, and progress toward territorial objectives.

             •   Oversee the correct issuance of policies and the resolution of issues, ensuring efficient management aligned with tax regulations, risks, and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS

Desired experience

  • Experience in the broker channel and in managing interdepartmental relationships.
  • Professional with extensive experience in the savings and investment insurance sector, specialized in attracting and developing financial agents, with at least five years in similar positions.
  • Extensive track record in financial environments and, preferably, in the marketing of investment and insurance products.

Required knowledge

  • Required qualification – Higher university studies.
  • Recognized certifications that meet the requirements of the Spanish Securities Market Commission (CNMV), in line with the European MiFID II regulations, such as CAF, EFPA, or similar.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and in portfolio analysis and management tools (CRM, financial platforms, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of Life insurance products, financial markets, and their tax implications.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and attract new financial advisors, establishing strategic and solid relationships in the territory. Must have a well-established network of contacts and be able to proactively expand it.
