Requirements

What we're looking for

Professional experience of more than 5 years in actuarial functions related to Reserving and technical provisions.
Education in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences or related degrees.
Practical knowledge of mathematical provisions and Article 33 of the ROSSP.
Experience or knowledge in Savings Life and Funeral products (essential).
High analytical capacity, technical precision, and attention to detail.
Skills in automation and optimization of actuarial processes.
Proficiency in advanced Excel and Python for actuarial calculations and analysis.

Nice to have

Valuable knowledge in actuarial software: RAFM (Risk Agility) and Prophet.
High level of English (valuable).

The role

What you'll do

Analyze the new business and existing portfolio of savings and protection products, with a special focus on Savings Life and Funeral insurance.
Execute the calculation, analysis, and review of mathematical provisions, applying the methodologies and criteria established in Article 33 of the ROSSP.
Participate in the calculation and analysis of the rest of the related technical provisions (PPP, PPPL, IBNR/IBNER, PB), guaranteeing their technical consistency.
Define, review, and update actuarial assumptions (mortality, longevity, expenses, persistence) based on technical experience and statistical analysis.
Analyze the technical experience of the portfolios and evaluate deviations from assumptions, proposing methodological improvements when necessary.
Ensure the correct application of Spanish insurance regulations.
Maintain, review, and document the actuarial models and processes associated with reserving, especially in long-term savings products.
Collaborate with other technical areas (product, risk, finance) to ensure the correct interpretation of actuarial results.
Prepare technical and methodological documentation of the calculations, assumptions, and processes used.
Provide support in audit processes, internal validation, and supervisor requirements related to mathematical provisions.
