Requirements
What we're looking for
- Demonstrable experience in thermoplastic polymers and composite materials, with deep knowledge of their properties, manufacturing processes, and characterization techniques (mechanical, thermal, physical, and physico-chemical testing).
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies applied to polymers and materials

What you'll do
As part of the Advanced Composites Technologies Unit, your tasks will be:
- Lead R&D projects in the field of additive manufacturing of polymers and composite materials: definition of experimental and scaling plans, monitoring of manufacturing campaigns, characterization and testing, analysis of results, coordination of personnel and resources, writing of technical reports, definition of risk mitigation plans, etc.
- Continuous updating of the state of the art related to polymers and composite materials applied to additive manufacturing processes (mainly FFF/FDM, high performance, continuous fiber reinforced composite materials, bio-based materials, integrated heating systems, etc.).
- Attendance at conferences and participation in dissemination activities.
- Collaboration in the preparation of national and European project proposals: definition of technical objectives, work planning, and searching for partners.
- Collaboration in the definition of the strategy for the Composite Materials Additive Manufacturing group
