⭐ WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Higher education in Computer Science or related fields, with knowledge of data structures. At least 2-3 years of experience in similar positions, working with Point of Sale (POS) systems and data analysis.
Experience and functional knowledge of POS (point of sale) systems.
Ability to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements, performing their analysis and documentation.
Knowledge of POS integrations with other systems: ecommerce, promotions, ERP, loyalty, payments, KDS, and billing.
Knowledge of SQL at a functional/advanced level, as well as experience in data management, analysis, and validation.
Experience in the execution and monitoring of technological projects, identifying dependencies, risks, and impacts between systems.
Ability to analyze and manage incidents, identify their root cause (Root Cause Analysis), and differentiate specific problems from structural problems.

🎯 ABOUT THE ROLE OF POS Functional Analyst - IT Projects
Currently, we are looking for a person with experience as a POS Functional Analyst - IT Projects whose main mission will be: to ensure the correct evolution and implementation of the integrations and new technological functionalities that support business needs, participating in the analysis and definition of functional requirements, coordinating the execution of technological projects, and guaranteeing the correct integration of systems related to the POS, as well as data quality and integrity.
Execute the functional requirements of the POS software, according to the priorities defined by the IT area, identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and process improvement.
Analyze the impact of new projects and functionalities on operational processes and existing systems, ensuring that solutions are implemented on time and with the expected quality.
Perform functional testing in development environments, coordinate QA testing and pilots, and support production deployment and rollout processes, minimizing the impact on operations.
Participate mainly in the execution and monitoring of technological projects related to POS, controlling scope, deadlines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies, and identifying possible deviations and corrective measures.
Analyze the dependencies and integrations of the POS ecosystem with other systems such as ecommerce, promotions, loyalty, reporting, and other corporate applications.
Analyze and manage incidents related to POS, evaluating their impact on operations and data, following them up until resolution, and identifying root causes and preventive measures.
Guarantee the quality and integrity of the data used in critical business processes, such as billing or royalty calculations, detecting discrepancies between systems and coordinating their resolution.
Coordinate and monitor technology providers, including hardware providers, software development, and payment entities or processors.
Prepare manuals and functional documentation, as well as train operations teams on new POS functionalities and developments.
