Pharma Project Engineering Coordinator - Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic)

We are looking for a Pharma Project Engineering Coordinator to join our team in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The selected candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of engineering projects in the pharmaceutical sector, ensuring the proper execution of the project, compliance with deadlines and budgets. Solid experience in engineering phase management, coordination of internal resources, and fluid communication with the client is required, as well as a deep understanding of project execution planning, including aspects such as HVAC and cleanrooms.

18-month project. Accommodation and per diem will be added to the salary.

What you'll do

Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, with a specific focus on the pharmaceutical sector.
Manage the engineering phase of the project, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Effectively coordinate internal resources (engineering teams, technicians, etc.).
Develop and oversee detailed execution plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Manage the project scope, controlling changes and ensuring deliverables meet defined requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.
Ensure compliance with specific pharmaceutical sector regulations.
Supervise and manage key technical aspects of projects, such as HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and the design and calculation of cleanrooms.
Manage project technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and manuals.

Requirements

Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in engineering project management in the pharmaceutical sector.
Solid experience in engineering phase management, execution planning, resource coordination, and client communication.
Intermediate knowledge of Electrical, Fluids, Panels, and other areas.
Basic knowledge of construction and civil works areas.
