Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in positions related to purchasing and project management.
  • Experience in automotive environments, preferably with Tier 1 suppliers or the plastics industry.
  • Solid knowledge of purchasing and negotiation techniques.
  • Experience in comprehensive project management.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contractual legislation.
  • High level of English for international environments.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of finance and cost management.
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain (Incoterms, VMI, consignment, among others).
  • Knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, Tier 2 Readiness).
  • Experience in industrial launches and management of strategic suppliers.

Education & certifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business School with a specialization in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or similar.

We are currently seeking a Supply Project Manager with experience in purchasing management and projects within the automotive sector.

What you'll do

  • Define and coordinate the sourcing strategy together with the purchasing teams.
  • Lead RFQ processes, market analysis, and supplier evaluation.
  • Negotiate commercial and technical conditions with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Develop recommendations and proposals for sourcing decision-making.
  • Manage contracts, purchase orders, and project financial tracking.
  • Identify risks and opportunities related to the supply chain and establish action plans.
  • Coordinate activities with suppliers during the industrialization and launch phases.
  • Lead actions to resolve critical issues with suppliers.
  • Ensure the preparation and monitoring of the supply chain to avoid impacts on production and launch.
  • Functionally coordinate the different stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Provide periodic reporting on milestones, costs, and project status.
  • Manage the assigned budget, monitoring deviations and proposing corrective measures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of purchasing processes.
