Requirements

What we're looking for

Experience in operation, support, and resolution of incidents on optical transmission and transport networks.
Knowledge of transmission architectures: DWDM, CWDM, OTN.
Experience with optical transport equipment from manufacturers such as Nokia, Ciena, Infinera, Huawei.
Knowledge of network technologies: SDH/PDH, DWDM / ROADM, OTN (Optical Transport Network), Carrier Ethernet.

The role

We are looking for an N2 Transport Support Technician profile to join us in a telecommunications project, working remotely in Spain.

You will resolve Level 2 incidents, perform diagnostics, and provide technical support within a stable project.

What you'll do

Handling and resolution of Level 2 (N2) incidents in the operator's transmission and transport network.
Diagnosis and analysis of faults in DWDM, OTN, and SDN infrastructures.
Technical support for operations, deployment, and engineering teams.
Execution of provisioning, modification, and decommissioning activities for transport services.
Coordination with manufacturers and N3 support groups for the resolution of complex incidents.
Management of the complete incident lifecycle using corporate ticketing tools.
Validation and monitoring of scheduled works, migrations, and maintenance windows.
Preparation and updating of technical documentation and operational procedures.
Participation in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement proposals.
