Security Operations Coordinator - Airport Sector

We are looking for a Security Operations Coordinator to lead operations at one of Spain's most critical and dynamic infrastructures: Barcelona-El Prat Airport. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be the key piece in stabilizing and consolidating the service during a time of high operational demand. You will have direct responsibility over a team of 6-7 Team Leaders and indirect supervision of a workforce of approximately 600 professionals. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills, resilience, and strategic vision to manage a 24/7 operation, ensuring excellence in customer service and maintaining a constructive work environment within a complex union context. - Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of operational teams to ensure maximum efficiency at Lot 4 of AENA.
- Organize and conduct comprehensive monitoring of operational planning using specialized tools.
- Manage critical operational incidents and establish resolution priorities to guarantee service continuity.
- Lead, motivate, and support the Team Leaders team, acting as a reference in middle management.
- Proactively manage the union representation environment and labor committees, fostering stable and productive labor relations.
- Oversee strict compliance with current private security regulations and internal compliance procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on the monitoring and control of operational KPIs for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain a fluid and professional relationship with the client and the different operational teams involved in the infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements (Must-Haves):
- Valid TIP certification as Security Chief and/or Security Director (Essential).
- Proven experience in coordinating or directing operations within the private security sector.
- Demonstrable track record in managing complex operations with a high volume of staff (large teams).
- Availability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, with schedule flexibility to handle relevant incidents.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with operational planning tools.
- Key competencies: Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, negotiation skills, and decision-making under pressure.

Valuable Requirements (Nice-to-Haves):
- Previous experience in airport operations or direct management with AENA.
- In-depth knowledge of critical infrastructure protection.
- Experience in operational reorganization processes and managing complex union relations.
