What you'll do

Our CEVA team has an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Operations Manager with a results-oriented mindset and strategic vision, to lead and optimize our high-volume aftersales and vehicle repair center (reconditioning, mechanics, bodywork, painting, PDI, fleets). In this key role, you will be the ultimate person responsible for the plant's profit and loss statement (P&L of €20M) and will lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 80 to 100 people. You will act as the driving force behind operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction for major B2B accounts (manufacturers, insurers, leasing companies, and fleets), ensuring alignment with our national and international standards.

Reporting directly to the National Operations Management, you will oversee the plant's comprehensive operations and lead continuous improvement across the different service lines. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Business and P&L Management: Define and execute the annual aftersales and workshop plan, controlling revenue, margins, labor costs, and materials to ensure profitability and key performance indicators (KPIs: productivity, cycle times, first time fix, rework, and parts turnover).
  • Plant Operations Organization: Plan production capacity (workstations, shifts, equipment) across the mechanics, bodywork, painting, and reconditioning lines to balance workloads, minimize bottlenecks, and meet SLAs agreed with fleet and insurance clients.
  • Continuous Improvement, Quality, and Safety: Implement Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, structured problem-solving) to reduce cycle times, optimize the center's layout, and guarantee the highest standards of quality, occupational health and safety (OHS), and environmental care.
  • People Leadership: Direct, motivate, and develop the workforce (80-100 people including technical and administrative staff). Organize shifts, set individual/team goals, and foster a safe and collaborative working environment.
  • B2B Client and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain the operational and strategic relationship with major clients (manufacturers, leasing companies, insurers), manage incidents with agility, and monitor satisfaction indexes (CSI/NPS).
  • Systems, Data, and Corporate Projects: Optimize the use of DMS/ERP and BI tools for daily analysis, prepare periodic reports for national and international management, and participate in global aftersales digitalization projects.

What we're looking for

To succeed in this high-impact position, we are looking for a profile with solid leadership skills, business acumen, and deep technical knowledge in automotive operations:

  • Education: University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Organizational, Automotive, or similar). Additional training such as an MBA or Master's in Operations / Supply Chain is highly valued.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years in management positions within aftersales, large repair/reconditioning centers, or high-volume dealership networks. Proven experience in direct P&L management and leading large teams (>50 people).
  • Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of workshop processes (mechanics, bodywork, painting, PDI, fleets) and parts management. Experience with Lean methodologies, 5S, Kaizen, DMS/ERP systems, and data analysis tools (Advanced Excel / BI).
  • Languages: Advanced level of English is essential (minimum B2, preferably C1) for reports and international meetings. Other languages such as French or German will be valued.
  • Competencies (Soft Skills): Strong leadership, high analytical capacity, results and operational efficiency orientation, excellent communication and B2B negotiation skills, and agility in managing change.

With an authentic culture of recognition and reward, we want our employees to grow, develop, and be part of our journey. For this position, we offer:

  • Professional Development: The opportunity to lead a high-volume operational center and manage high-value corporate accounts within a global logistics leader.
