About the role

We are looking for a Senior Indoor Air Quality Technician (TSCAI) to join our HACAI team, dedicated to hygienic-sanitary inspection, microbiological control, and validation of installations in critical environments such as hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare centers.

What you'll do

  • Conducting hygienic-sanitary inspections in controlled environment rooms and healthcare settings in accordance with UNE 171330:2024, UNE 171340:2020, ISO 16000, ISO 14644, and INSST guidelines.
  • Performing sampling of air, surfaces, and water:
    • Air: particles, microbiology, formaldehyde, VOC, CO₂, thermal comfort.
    • Surfaces: bioburden, swabs.
    • Water: Legionella and associated parameters (RD 487/2022).
  • Taking on-site technical measurements: differential pressure, airflow, temperature, humidity, particle counts, and environmental parameters.
  • Strict compliance with internal procedures, traceability, and ISO 17025 criteria for sampling.
  • Managing travel and field documentation using corporate tools.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, interpreting results, and communicating with clients.
  • Identifying non-conformities and proposing corrective measures.
  • Interacting with Registry/LIMS to verify data and ensure document integrity.
  • Staying up to date with indoor air quality regulations, environmental control, water, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Supporting the planning of campaigns, preparation of materials, and document review.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in indoor air quality campaigns or environmental inspections.
  • Experience in cleanrooms, hospitals, or critical installations.
  • Knowledge of ISO 17020/17025, UNE 171330, UNE 171340, ISO 16000, ISO 14644.

Requirements

  • Training:
    • Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention with a specialization in industrial hygiene.
    • Senior Technician (TSCAI, Environmental Health, Laboratory, or similar)
    • FPS: Senior Technician in Analysis and Quality Control Laboratory, Senior Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory, Environmental Health and Safety Family, Senior Technician in Chemistry and Environmental Health.
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields
  • Valid driver's license (B).
  • Skills: organization, clear commitment to quality and continuous improvement, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
  • Availability for national travel as required.
