The role

Our client, a leading company in the industrial sector, is looking to add an INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN to its Systems team

Mission: You will assist and support colleagues in the structured cabling area for data, voice, and UPS, in industrial environments with high HA requirements, through the daily management and administration, coordination, planning, and execution of multiple tasks in this area.

What you'll do

Structured cabling installations for data, voice, and UPS in industrial and office environments.
Participation in private Data Center installations.
Gathering requirements to carry out installations.
Outsourcing of cabling and Data Center installation projects to specialized companies from start to finish, from requirement gathering to execution and monitoring.
Assessment, analysis, summaries, and decision-making according to corporate criteria regarding the best proposals offered.

What are we looking for?

Vocational Training (CFGM / CFGSF) in Computer Systems, Telecommunications, or similar.
Knowledge of IT/OT networks, LAN environment administration, and WAN communications (MPLS).
Windows and Linux systems administration.
Knowledge of Oracle environments and database management.
Management of desktop virtualization environments (Horizon) and email (Exchange).
Knowledge of cybersecurity and protection systems administration.
Knowledge of monitoring, unified printing, and web server management.
Experience in network infrastructure management (switching, VoIP - preferably Cisco).
Experience in server infrastructures (physical and virtualized) and storage.
Experience in backup and business continuity solutions.
