Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in project and/or construction management.
  • Significant experience in hotel, hospitality or similar large-scale development projects.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, multifaceted construction programmes.
  • Strong experience in executive-level reporting.
  • Fluent in English and Greek.

The role

Sani/Ikos Group is seeking a MEP Project Senior Manager to drive the successful delivery of new hotel developments, renovations and expansion projects across our portfolio. In this role, you will shape and implement construction strategies that support our brand standards, operational needs and financial objectives, while helping to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with our commitment to thoughtful design and sustainable growth.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design development through construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring strong control of schedule, budget, quality and safety. Working closely with internal specialists and external partners, you will help translate concept into reality with precision, collaboration and care.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement construction strategies for new builds, refurbishments and expansions.
  • Ensure all projects align with brand standards, operational requirements and financial targets.
  • Monitor and report project KPIs relating to schedule, budget, quality and safety.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, design development, construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Review and approve construction schedules, budgets and resource plans in liaison with the Central Services Department.
  • Collaborate with structural, construction, MEP, civil, architectural, interior planning, procurement and sustainability teams to integrate technical and design requirements.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to minimise disruption during renovations and openings.
  • Partner with the Health & Safety Department to ensure standards and principles are applied, monitored and controlled throughout all project phases.
  • Lead, mentor and develop construction managers, engineers and site teams.
  • Manage external consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure delivery against project requirements.
  • Oversee construction budgets, contracts, procurement, cost control measures, variation orders and value engineering proposals.
  • Identify, assess and manage risks and opportunities, ensuring timely escalation and effective mitigation in liaison with Central Services.
  • Work with Legal and Procurement teams on contracts and service providers.
  • Prepare and present clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks, issues and decisions required.
