Position: R&D Analytical Development Analyst - Pharmaceutical Plant

Location: Azuqueca de Henares.

Experience: at least 2-3 years in similar roles.

We are incorporating a Laboratory Analyst in the R&D area at our plant located in Azuqueca de Henares.

The challenge!

. Perform and report analytical tests to develop, verify, and validate analytical parameters, prepare reports with analytical result data and propose changes to tests, and prevent, check, and calibrate R&D&i equipment and the requirements for materials, consumables, and reagents, according to the plant's work policy, SOPs, good laboratory practices, safety and hygiene, and general procedures of the Chemical Industry and Pharmacopoeia, for the purposes of processing, developing, and improving analytical methods.

. Perform tests in development, verify, and validate the appropriate and necessary parameters for the preparation of the corresponding analytical method for the development of pharmaceutical products in the R&D laboratory.

• Record the analytical results of the tests and prepare reports with the results and main conclusions for the correct development of an analytical method.

• Inform the Analytical Development Scientist about the results obtained in the tests performed for the correct development of an analytical method, and any incident that occurs during a test with the material, equipment, and facilities used in said tests, and propose changes and/or variations in analytical tests performed during the development of an analytical method to improve the method.

• Check, calibrate, and maintain R&D equipment daily under approved conditions at the plant and avoid the need for materials, consumables, and reagents (standards and other products).

• Advise, train, support, and verify the work performed by other analysts to ensure the correct functioning and success of the department's projects.

• Education: Higher Degree in Quality Analysis and Control or similar.
• Experience (years/area): at least 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory
• Experience working with HPLC, GC. Proficiency in Empower is valued. Other techniques will be valued.
• Desirable: knowledge of Office Software at a user level and basic English level.
• Personal skills: good organizational and problem-solving capacity, teamwork, initiative, and decision-making.
• Technical skills: ability to work in a regulated environment
