Requirements
What we're looking for
- Education: University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Vocational Training (FPII) in Electronics or similar.
- Have obtained the academic degree NO more than 3 years ago
- Must not have previously held an internship contract
- Knowledge in diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Familiarity with automatic control systems and PLCs.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and pneumatics.
- Commitment to industrial safety regulations.
Nice to have
Experience: at least 1 year in similar roles is valued
- Valuable experience of at least 1 year in machinery maintenance, preferably in similar lines within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industries

The role
Position: EBR Automation Technician - Internship Contract
We are hiring an EBR (Electronic Batch Record) Automation Technician on an internship contract to join one of our plants located in Azuqueca de Henares.
The challenge!
What you'll do
Install, program, maintain, and optimize automation systems present in production lines, industrial machinery, and automated processes. Their main objective is to guarantee the efficiency, safety, and availability of the equipment, minimizing downtime and improving production performance.
- Assemble, wire, and configure automation equipment (PLC, HMI, sensors, drives, robots, etc.).
- Integrate new systems into existing production lines.
- Program and adjust programmable logic controllers (PLC) and HMI panels.
- Configure frequency drives, servomotors, and SCADA systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and automation faults.
- Perform periodic inspections to prevent breakdowns and production stops.
- Improve equipment efficiency through software and hardware adjustments and updates.
- Propose solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Comply with industrial safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Document procedures, maintenance reports, and technical records.
- Provide support to the production and maintenance teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment installation or repair.
- Provide support for EBR, Seavision, and similar system incidents
How you'll work
Location: Azuqueca de Henares
⏰Full-time on a weekly rotating schedule: mornings 06:00 to 14:00, afternoons 14:00 to 22:00, and nights 22:00 to 06:00h
📜Training contract for obtaining professional practice (internship contract) for 6 months with the possibility of extension
