Requirements
What we're looking for
- Education: Degree in Pharmacy.
- Experience (years/area): 2 to 5 years of experience as a Formulation Technician (or similar) in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Specific knowledge: Experience in a GMP environment, knowledge of FDA will be valued.
- Personal skills: Good analytical capacity, precision and reliability.
Nice to have
- Languages: Fluent Spanish and English, knowledge of other languages is valued.

The role
- Position: Pharmaceutical Development Technician.
- Location: Azuqueca de Henares.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in similar roles.
What you'll do
- Develop and test standard operating procedures (especially equipment operation), protocols, specifications, guidelines and GMP release documentation necessary to carry out scheduled testing in the department and clinical trials.
- Organize and supervise the work of operators to carry out the established schedule.
- Characterize the reference product, search literature, review and evaluate patents to develop products.
- Make requisitions and maintain stock control according to forecasts for performing the different tests.
- Receive results from the operator of the different galenic tests to archive, analyze, prepare reports, dossiers and propose tests to the supervisor to improve results, optimize processes and formulations and facilitate decision-making.
- Train new galenic operators in machine handling, attend to area inquiries regarding daily operation and supervise correct operation during the commissioning of new equipment and compliance with the existing Calibration Plan to ensure compliance with GMP procedures and regulations.
