Requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience: Between 8 and 15 years of practical experience in administration, production environment operations, and L3 support of PostgreSQL databases in critical environments under SLAs and ITIL.
Advanced PostgreSQL administration: Configuration, incident resolution, performance tuning, query optimization, capacity analysis, and operational maintenance (VACUUM, ANALYZE, REINDEX).
High Availability and Clustering: Configuration and support of high availability and clustering solutions such as Patroni / ETCD.
Replication: Extensive experience in replication technologies (Streaming Replication, Logical Replication, Physical Replication).
Backup, Restore & DR: Design, maintenance, and validation of backup and recovery strategies (pg_dump, pg_restore), periodic disaster recovery (DR) testing, and RPO/RTO compliance.
Systems and Support: Good knowledge of Linux administration, scripting, and ticketing management via ServiceNow.

Nice to have

Experience in automation with tools such as Ansible.
Experience with PostgreSQL services in Cloud and/or Virtual Machines.
Knowledge of observability platforms and database monitoring.
Secondary knowledge in Oracle or SQL Server databases.
Certifications in PostgreSQL or Cloud environments.

Languages

Languages: English B2 or higher / fluent (essential).

The role

We are looking for a DBA PostgreSQL Senior (L3) profile to join high-level support environments and high-impact technological projects in the aeronautical sector.

How you'll work

Flexibility to work in shifts (rotating between 7:00 and 19:00h) and participation in occasional on-call duties (predictably 1 week per month)
Schedule: Rotating shifts to cover the 7:00 to 19:00h window (07:00-15:00 / 08:00-17:00 / 10:00-19:00).
