Requirements

What we're looking for

Computer Engineering (Systems specialization or equivalent) or Telecommunications Engineering.
Between 6-7 years of experience leading teams or alternatively 5-10 years of experience in Information Security projects.
Linux, Windows, and Windows Server.
Networks, routing, switching, VPN, and firewalls.
Active Directory.
VMware.
Data center administration.
Monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana...).
Security and hardening.
Storage systems and backup.
Bash, PowerShell, and scripting.
CI/CD.

Nice to have

Valuable: CISA.- CISM.- ISO27001.-ISO 42001.-ISO 38507 certifications.
Valuable: experience in Public Administration / Healthcare projects

The role

One of our clients located in Mallorca, in the process of expanding in the field of software development, is looking for a proactive person open to working with new technologies, bringing knowledge and experience to a highly qualified team with experience in the area of Systems and Telecommunications.

The selected person will be responsible for leading the Infrastructure team. For this position, we are looking for someone with vision, strategic execution skills, and who enjoys helping both people and technology grow. We particularly value the ability to build trust, make sound decisions, prioritize in demanding environments, and maintain close communication with technical and business teams.

What you'll do

Lead, coordinate, and develop the Systems and Telecommunications team.
Organize the planning of the area, setting priorities and ensuring the achievement of objectives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and talent development.
Coordinate communication with other technical and business areas.
Ensure the availability, stability, and evolution of the technological infrastructure.
Oversee the maintenance of servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and data centers.
Ensure proper administration of Linux, Windows, and Windows Server environments.
Oversee backup management, disaster recovery, and service continuity.
Ensure the proper functioning of infrastructure monitoring and observability.
Define and oversee information security policies.
Promote system hardening and compliance with best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance and proper management of technological risks.
Lead response to critical incidents and crisis situations.
Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in the evolution of DevOps processes and CI/CD.
Evaluate new technologies and propose architectural improvements.
Manage relationships with technology vendors and manufacturers.
