The role

The company Lladró, a multinational specializing in the creation and distribution of a wide spectrum of art porcelain creations, needs to fill the position of Maintenance Manager in the Company Operations area.

Design, perform, implement, and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance plan for all facilities, work equipment, and company machinery, complying with current regulations and coordinating available resources, to ensure correct operation and optimal performance. Likewise, participate in the development of investment projects to cover needs regarding safety, greater efficiency, energy savings, cost reduction, and improvements.

What you'll do

  • Identify and define the needs for improvement or maintenance of work equipment, machinery, and facilities in the short, medium, and long term, proposing execution plans.
  • Plan preventive and predictive maintenance for facilities and critical machinery for the correct operation of the company (periodic checks, replacement of elements, etc.). Compliance with applicable legal regulations.
  • Install and commission new work equipment/machines, as well as the coordination of all associated activities.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with the different departments, attending to their requests.
  • Design, implement, and maintain control procedures to guarantee the effective and efficient operation and safety of work equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Create and keep updated the preventive and predictive maintenance manuals, as well as the technical archive for everything concerning the maintenance department.
  • Perform and supervise corrective maintenance tasks (resolution of breakdowns, incidents, and unforeseen events), assigning maintenance work to both internal and subcontracted personnel.
  • Record work orders and interventions carried out by the maintenance department, and preserve them.
  • Perform the procurement management necessary for repairs and maintenance interventions.
  • Coordinate, plan, and supervise the work of internal maintenance personnel, control center personnel, and external companies for security, maintenance, and daily cleaning, as well as the work of external personnel hired for specific and occasional services.
  • Prepare and evaluate budgets for approval, ensuring their compliance, detecting deviations, and taking measures to rectify them.
  • Prepare and control the budget assigned to the department, analyzing possible deviations.
  • Control and record energy and water consumption.
  • Record and modify facility blueprints as modifications occur.
  • Assume the management of industrial projects: design, contracting, monitoring, and coordination across all subcontracted companies.
  • Regarding health and safety: assume the leadership of intervention for the Emergency Measures Plan, serve as a preventive resource in the cases indicated in the LPR, and ensure compliance with existing company procedures regarding health and safety (adaptation of machines to current legislation, coordination of business activities, etc.).
