Requirements

What we're looking for

Training in International Trade or related studies.
Experience of at least 1 year in a similar role.
Must have a driver's license and own vehicle.
Availability to travel at a regional and national level.

Languages

Native Catalan and Spanish. We will value intermediate-high French very positively, though it is not essential.

The role

At Marlex, we are looking for you! We are collaborating with an important company in the plastic industrial sector that needs to hire a Junior Sales Technician in the Calaf area. If you are looking for stability, professional development, and a new challenge, this is your opportunity!

What will you do?

What you'll do

Prospecting potential clients in the assigned geographic territory, following the sales parameters defined by the company.
Determine strategic ways of acting.
Acquisition of new international clients by means of:
Attendance at national trade fairs.
Client databases and telemarketing.
Prospecting new markets through Chambers of Commerce, COPCA, Icex, etc.
Manage and coordinate the network of external representatives in their area.
Visits and commercial presentations to clients.
Preparation of budgets and offers (within the parameters set by management).
Negotiation of prices with clients.
Advise the client at a technical and commercial level.
Resolution of possible incidents with clients during the production process of the order or the finished product.
Preparation and attendance at trade fairs.
Preparation of visit reports and subsequent delivery to the Sales Director.
